M.S. Samina

Only a short 10 minute boat ride away, this 115-metre wreck lays on the bottom at 34-metres with the top at 20-metres.

Paderonisi Cavern

A cavern only accessible from underwater. You are able to surface inside and breathe while enjoying the colours and stalactites on the ceiling.

Red Rock

With its spectacular underwater topography, this site is always near the top of the list of sites to visit.

St Spiridon

Sheltered in a small bay, this site starts at 5 metres and reaches 20 metres, with a small cavern situated within easy reach.

PADI Freediver course overview

These are some of the skills you will learn before completion of the PADI freediving certification

  • A 90-second breathhold just below the surface

  • A horizontal swim underwater on a single breath of 25 metres

  • Vertical dive to a maximum depth of 16 metres

  • Rescue of an unconscious diver from a depth of 5 metres

Blue Island Divers is a PADI 5* dive centre located on the small Greek island of Antiparos. They are also one of the first PADI freediving centres in Greece.


Scuba and Freediving Instructor
Having learnt Freediving in Bali with SSI, Gary crossed over to become one of the first official PADI freediving Instructors in Greece.
